Christmas guests...

Are you having guests coming to stay over the Christmas holiday? A friend of mine, Lois, was having some company during the Christmas break and decided to make her guest room more festive.

Her Christmas decor touches were relatively simple, yet made such a difference! Here's a little better look:

Isn't that just lovely how she added red Christmas balls and some greenery to the bed headboard? The red plaid comforter cover and red toile sheets are the perfect combination to warm up the room and make it feel cozy (koselig, in Norwegian) and welcoming.

A festive pillow added to the chair in the room...

Red Christmas balls added to some greenery surrounding the candle holder...

A Nordic Christmas ribbon added to a teddy bear in an antique wicker buggy..

Are you inspired yet? I sure was when I saw her simple, affordable, yet transforming touches to her beautiful white guest room. If you are having Christmas guests, you might think about what simple decorations  you already have that could be added to your guest room to make your guests feel even more special!

Well, Christmas Eve and Christmas day are just around the corner now! We have been busy practicing bells for our Christmas Eve service at church...one of my favorite services of the year. If you live near Lake Stevens, our service at Elim Lutheran is at 10:00 p.m. and we would love to have you join us!

I'm still just loving Pentatonix and their versions of favorite Christmas carols. I'll leave you with this one...
