Happy Birthday Blog and a Gift for you...

A little while ago I was scrolling through my blog history and realized that on November 20th, my blog will celebrate it's first birthday! I know, I know...I should have baked a cake to celebrate, but then I would probably eaten way too much cake all by myself since most of my family is away from home. So, this picture will have to suffice...Happy Birthday, blog! 

I just want to say thank you for all of you who read my blog and have followed along on this journey with me. There have been days when I feel like I'm just writing and sending these posts out into the void...but then, inevitably, I run into someone who says, "I enjoy your blog," or I get an encouraging comment on facebook or even...on the blog itself! I so appreciate my faithful subscribers and readers...I really do.

So, as a way to say thanks in a meaningful, memorable, and tangible way, I'm going to give some lucky reader a gift...and all of you have a chance to win!  I put together a little collection of things to represent various aspects of my blog content. 

To represent the stories and books I have reviewed...I am giving away Ann Voskamp's latest book, "Unwrapping the Greatest Gift," just in time to help you prepare for a meaningful Advent season. To represent the home interior design/decor, I am including a Holiday Gatherings candle in a wicker and glass holder, that can be filled with greenery or flowers once the candle is burned away. To represent my love for cards and stationary, there is a linen card from Lindsay P Designs. And finally, to represent all the recipes and my love of cakes and almost all things baked, there is lovely large mixing bowl and mini bowl from Crate and Barell...just in time for your Christmas baking!
