A Look at a Rustic French Interior...

One of our days in France we stopped by this charming restaurant called Le Caillau. Surrounded by vineyards on all sides, the restaurant just seems to fit right into the countryside. After taking a look around in the afternoon, going back for dinner the next night became imperative. With so much to love about it, I can't wait to show it to you!

We were there on a cloudy day in September, but can't you just imagine how lovely it would be to sit out here in the summer?

Ready to see inside the restaurant? Take a look! Don't you just love the rustic exposed beams, the lighting, the stone walls and fireplace? We sat right by the fireplace when we had dinner, and the food was amazing. If you want to see you photos of the food they serve, go to this link LeCaillue. Are you inspired to take a trip to France yet? I hope I've given you just a taste of this beautiful area. Hard to put into words just how lovely this region is...the rolling hills with vineyards everywhere, the narrow streets, the picturesque villages...I could go on and on.  Just to entice you to go visit south central France, here are a few more photos of several places we visited.
